How Rising PPL PTC Rates Add Up
PPL is increasing its default service rates by 7%. So let’s break down how this will affect your bill.
The average Pennsylvania consumer uses 851 kWh per month in their home. During the summer and winter months, useage tends to be higher. Unfortunately, these rate hikes could really hurt your pocketbook.
PPL is increasing their rates by 7%, from $0.1004 per kWh to $0.10771 per kWh. As a result, the supply portion of your bill is going to increase on average from $85.44 to $91.66.
