“ Never use the company Smart Energy. I did that last year because I was told that I would be charges for my electricity under a fixed rate. Never got a welcome package with all information, never got a renewal notification in the mail in January they "supposedly" sent. I have been in the phone all week with them because I stopped my services with them on July 13, only to find out they were still charging me because I stopped my services with them four days into a new billing cycle. I just asked for a reimbursement, not even a total one. Just 75 percent. I just called and again asked to be reimbursed, and I was ask if I was going to reimburse them for the electricity that I used!!! This is customer service????? ”
“ I manage my neighbors/friends electric account, Smart Energy told her via telephone their rate was better, obtained her contact thru ppl, (I changed her to NO SHARING), they switched her from a rate .067 Cirro good company, to .1023. She had a contract w/cirro for 2/18 - 2/19 and would have had cancellation charges to boot. Cirro did not charge her and was great to help me solve this injustice, ppl could see that she had been scammed and did nothing about this and made it harder to get back to Cirro without first charging their increased rates for 7 days. ”
