“ I was confronted by a salesman in Walmart and without telling me what all is involved he had me switched to their service and didnt even tell me that it is more expensive than my current provider. ”

Zero Stars if I could!
“ Lies and false sales pitches. Dated July 5th, 2024. A salesmen [Cody] arrives on my doorstep giving his pitch for Just Energy free weekends plan. Explained that it wasnt just free but also a credit against the other 115 hours of the week. Lies it is only a credit against itself the remainder is full price no exceptions. Also claimed no free nights plan. Also lies, there is one from 9pm-7am. Also lied about there being no early termination if I was unsatisfied for any reason. Of course he signed me up for 36 months and to leave is minimum $175. Do not join Just Energy! You will not save any money and will find it to be an expensive lesson. The customer support was at the least Honest and was well aware that the plan was terrible and advised me seek out better providers for my situation. ”

Jacked up my rate to 0.19 when energy prices dropped everywhere else.
“ My plan with them ended, and they hit me with a 0.19 rate. Check this out. I used 341KwH in April and my bill was $62.59, then in May I used 305kWh...that's 36kWh LESS than April, and because they jacked up my rate my bill was $100.34! I'm totally not paying that, because it's taking advantage, it's usury, it's a rip off, AND because this is an 1100 sq. ft. apartment, not a 3-bedroom townhouse, and no way should my bill be that high, EVER. Especially when rates are now in the 0.089 range. Then I called and complained and they told me to call PP&L, who then told me to call Frontier, which of course makes sense since THEY are the ones responsible for this jacked up rate. And the other thing is, no advance notification of a higher rate about to be charged? They just shoot your rate up without telling you?? What kind of crap is that??? ”

Horrible
“ Terrible, horrible and extremely useless when it comes to correcting a mistake of theirs. Phone call after phone call of dealing with stupidity and not one person taking responsibility for their mistakes. Very aggravating to deal with. ”

Scam, stay away
“ I worked for these guys for a while. Stay far away. If youre really desperate for a cheaper utility bill, then just go on papowerswitch.com and sign up for the cheapest *fixed* rate (which is never igs). Its very hard to cancel with igs without having to pay a fee or a higher utility rate. ”

Switch and bait
“ IGS came to my door and talked me into signing up, didn't tell me there was an early cancel fee. We'll by the time I got my paper work I noticed the early cancel fee two weeks after I agreed to sign up. Not only that but I did the bundle with gas and they're price was twice as much. The representative told me my gas and electric would drop by 20 percent. Not the case ”
